Prestigious graduate fellowships received by two students

Two MS graduate students in Diao's group have received prestigious graduate fellowships to pursue their PhD degree.

Ching An Yang, who has recently been admitted to University of Michigan, received the Rackham Merit Fellowship, which is only offered to 5% of the incoming graduate students at U Michigan.

Flor Maciel Vanessa, who was admitted to UCLA in 2022, received the Cota-Robles Fellowship.

Both students have been examining ice and mixed-phase clouds and aerosol-cloud interactions using aircraft observations and global climate model simulations.
