Dr. Diao has received the 2018 NCAR ASP Faculty Fellowship

Dr. Diao has received the 2018 NCAR ASP Faculty Fellowship. Under the support of this fellowship, Dr. Diao and her two students will visit the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado in the summer of 2018. Her previous visit in 2016, under the 2016 NCAR ASP Faculty Fellowship has provided fruitful collaboration between her group and the scientists at NCAR Earth Observing Laboratory. She will continue the collaboration in this new visit. Her group will conduct laboratory calibration of an airborne instrument, and compare the in-situ observations over the Southern Ocean with the climate model simulations of the NCAR CAM5 model.
