Eleni Konstantelos selected for NCAR ASP colloquium
Graduate student Eleni Konstantelos has been selected as a participant in the NCAR ASP colloquium "Beyond Boundaries: Training Earth System Scientists and Engineers in Convergence Research for Compound Hazard Resilience in summer 2026. She was one of the few students selected amongst ~200 applicants. Congratulations, Eleni!
Rachel Stadtlander received AMS Student Presentation Honor Recognition
Graduate student, Rachel Stadtlander, received the 2026 AMS Student Presentation Honorable Mention for the AMS annual conference in Houston Texas. Her talk was entitled: "Machine Learning Approaches for Wildfire Prediction in California Using Earth System Model and Reanalysis Data from 2001 to 2015", in collaboration with Drs.
